For three generations, Navone’s family preserves the textile tradition from Chieri,
preserving the old jacquard technique and developping innovative solutions
to satisfy the requests of a evolving market
1922
Giacinto Navone, graduated from the weaving school, starts his experience in the textile industry
1954
After years as a textile worker, Giacinto develops
an entrepreneurial spirit and found
the Tessitura Artigiana Chierese
1974
The company passes into the hand of the son Mario that, with his wife Vilma, modernize the production and gives life to the Tessitura Artistica Chierese, reality that stands out immediately in the textile industry for the quality of the fabrics
1995
Andrea joins his parents Mario and Vilma and together they accompany the company through a new phase of expansion modernising the design of the fabrics thanks to the first textile CAD
1997
The company stets up, with other 14 companies and local institutions, the Fondazione Chierese per il Tessile, from which comes to life the Textile Museum,that promotes the cultural heritage linked to this sector
2004
Alla guida della Tessitura Artistica Chierese, al fianco di Andrea, si aggiunge il fratello Claudio: insieme conducono l’azienda all’evoluzione, sviluppando tecniche innovative e valorizzando la tradizione di famiglia
